Are there restrictions on floor covering in a dental office?

The KDA receives calls from members we believe might be helpful to other members.

OSHA does not have any restrictions on floor covering, but recommends tile or linoleum.
Center for Disease Control and Prevention also recommends tile or linoleum.

Carpet is not recommended in the operatories, however in a waiting room or hallway would be fine.
